Kitchen renovation, Miramar

The old kitchen had timber benchtops, a breakfast bar with stools and tongue-and-groove walls. It now has white cabinetry in a U-shape with a peninsula, tall cupboards around a stainless fridge and wall ovens, and a pale tiled splashback.

In the bathroom, the built-in bath, chequered floor and panelled walls made way for a freestanding bath, a frameless glass shower, a back-to-wall toilet, a chrome heated towel rail and grey chevron-pattern flooring.
